In 2023, the Centre Inter­na­tion­al de Deau­ville will open its doors to you for excep­tion­al events for the gen­er­al pub­lic. You’ll find fest­ivals, shows and fairs. Through­out the year, immerse your­self in dif­fer­ent worlds through our 6 events for the gen­er­al pub­lic in Deauville:

On the program for the month of April :

For lov­ers of clas­sic­al dance, dis­cov­er Ravel’s Bolero dir­ec­ted by François Mauduit, accom­pan­ied by artists from La Scala de Mil­an, the Par­is Opera and the Bor­deaux Opera. Exper­i­ence an unfor­get­table moment with artists of the clas­sic­al rep­er­toire and con­tem­por­ary creation.

July’s agenda:

Come and live an immers­ive exper­i­ence at the Manga Fest­iv­al Deau­ville from July 21 to 23, 2023. For 3 days, the Pal­ais des con­grès de Deau­ville will be ded­ic­ated to the world of manga and Japan­ese pop cul­ture through anim­a­tions such as cos­play con­tests, manga work­shops, meet­ings with you­tubers and manga­kas or exhib­i­tions. Many artist­ic anim­a­tions (live street art, ori­gami…), sports (Kung Fu, Aikido, Kar­ate, Judo…) or culin­ary anim­a­tions will remain to dis­cov­er dur­ing your vis­it! A parade of cos­play­ers in the city of Deau­ville and an auc­tion will also be on the pro­gram of this festival.

August’s program:

Take part in August in the 6^th edi­tion of the Deau­ville Tat­too Fest­iv­al at the Centre des Con­grès de Deau­ville. Meet nearly 350 inter­na­tion­al artists and get the tat­too of your dreams. The tat­too artists present will share their exper­i­ence and answer your ques­tions. From August 19 to 20, 2023, the Deau­ville Tat­too Fest­iv­al offers a tat­too con­test based on 8 cat­egor­ies and judged by a pres­ti­gi­ous jury with the aim of award­ing a trophy to the most beau­ti­ful tat­too. You can also find tat­too clothes and/or accessor­ies stands as well as food-trucks.

September Calendar:

Among the must-see events at the Deau­ville Inter­na­tion­al Cen­ter: The 49^th Deau­ville Amer­ic­an Film Fest­iv­al from Septem­ber 1 to 10, 2023. This flag­ship event at the CID — Pal­ais des Con­grès de Deau­ville attracts thou­sands of vis­it­ors from all over the world every year. It is one of the only European fest­ivals of this scale to open its doors to the gen­er­al pub­lic. Every year, it wel­comes the most fash­ion­able stars of the moment, such as Robert Pat­tis­on in 2017, Johnny Depp in 2021 and Ana de Armas in 2022. Dur­ing the fest­iv­al, more than a hun­dred films are screened in 3 ven­ues and 8 cat­egor­ies are dis­tin­guished to pro­mote the diversity of Amer­ic­an cinema. At the end of the Awards Cere­mony, 5 prizes are awar­ded. Are you a fan of big Hol­ly­wood pro­duc­tions or inde­pend­ent films? The Deau­ville Amer­ic­an Film Fest­iv­al is wait­ing for you!

October’s program:

Art Shop­ping Deau­ville returns for a 5^th edi­tion at the Deau­ville Con­ven­tion Cen­ter. Each year, this event­ful fair ded­ic­ated to con­tem­por­ary art brings togeth­er a hun­dred or so paint­ers, sculptors, visu­al artists, pho­to­graph­ers, etc. Access­ible, eclect­ic, lively and dar­ing, ART SHOPPING has estab­lished itself as an unmiss­able inter­na­tion­al event for con­tem­por­ary artists and gal­ler­ies, who have renewed their trust in the fair in ever great­er num­bers over the years. The fair, placed under the sign of con­vi­vi­al­ity, allows the dir­ect meet­ing between the buyers/visitors and the artists and gal­lery own­ers and pro­poses afford­able prices for pur­chases. It is pos­sible to come as a simple vis­it­or or as a buy­er. Join us from Octo­ber 27 to 29, 2023 at CID Deauville.
