The Deauville Congress Centre is hosting the 3rd Normandy Nursing Home Congress and the 8th Wound Care Congress : 650 delegates from Western France’s medical sector will meet up in Deauville.

We talked to Ingrid Laisné, Events Director for JP Com agency.

What are the profiles of the participants who come to Deauville ?

These events mainly concern Nursing Home Directors, Doctors, Geriatric specialists, Dermatologists and nurses.

What are your impressions of these two events ?

I am delighted, there has been a high level of participation : 95% of delegates are present today, which is a good record considering the current climate. These meetings are organised every year. They are very important for the participants, a moment of conviviality and interaction which is particularly appreciated.

As an event organiser, how have you managed to deal with the COVID-19 virus ?

In this respect, we are dealing with a highly qualified and informed public : the medical sector. We have already communicated about compliance with government recommendations : no hand-shaking, the availability of disinfectant gel at  welcome desks….. an e-mail has already been sent to all the delegates to invite any persons who have recently visited risk areas to refrain from attending the events.

We are very happy because attendance is excellent : our 650 delegates are present.
