The stage of the Michel d’Ornano auditorium will host Deauville sur Pointes.

Le Grand Week-End — Deau­ville sur Pointes :
a cel­eb­ra­tion of dance in all its forms, with the excep­tion­al pres­ence of inter­na­tion­al bal­let stars.

From July 25 to 27, 2025, the ‘Deau­ville sur Pointes’ fest­iv­al will bring togeth­er dance enthu­si­asts and lov­ers around a rich pro­gram ded­ic­ated to this art form. Dur­ing this long week­end, Deau­ville will be trans­formed into an inter­na­tion­al dance stage, cul­min­at­ing in a com­pet­i­tion for young dan­cers and a gala fea­tur­ing stars of clas­sic­al ballet.

In the pres­ti­gi­ous tra­di­tion that has linked the town to dance since 1912, with Serge Diaghilev’s first shows, Rudolf Nureyev’s vis­it in 1961, and recent per­form­ances by soloists from the Bolshoi and Mari­in­sky Theatres, Deau­ville con­tin­ues to write its unique his­tory with dance, through an event with an unpre­ced­en­ted format. This fest­iv­al will offer every­one the oppor­tun­ity to exper­i­ence dance at the highest level, in a con­vivi­al sum­mer atmosphere.

The fest­iv­al will bring togeth­er a team of excel­lence, includ­ing stars from the Roy­al Bal­let, Bav­ari­an State Opera Bal­let, San Fran­cisco Bal­let, Roy­al Dan­ish Bal­let and Dutch Nation­al Bal­let, under the dir­ec­tion of Amer­ic­an cho­reo­graph­er Gar­rett Smith. These artists will per­form at a gala even­ing and chair the jury of the com­pet­i­tion for young dancers.
Designed to offer every­one an enrich­ing exper­i­ence and encour­age exchanges, the fest­iv­al will fea­ture a wide-ran­ging pro­gram includ­ing mas­ter­classes giv­en by the stars to the com­pet­i­tion’s can­did­ates, an open rehears­al of the gala, priv­ileged encoun­ters with the artists and themed conferences.
